Principal's Welcome

Principal's Welcome

Welcome!  ¡Bienvenidos!  Sat sri akal!

It is my pleasure to take this opportunity to welcome you to Livingston High School and the 2024-2025 school year!   We are committed to offering a student-centered educational experience that provides opportunities to explore various post-high school options, to practice skills needed in the workplace, and to develop competency in a variety of subjects.

At Livingston High School we value respect, accountability, integrity, and involvement, and we are committed to creating college and career ready graduates.  LHS wants all students to have the skills that are represented by our maxims:  We Create (ideas are discovered by exploring new perspectives), We Build (solutions are strengthened by collaboration), and We Share (relationships are sustained by open communication).

We will work together as a team to provide students with opportunities to explore and experience success.  Our students’ successes take place with the support of parents, school staff, and our community partners.  We will continue to focus on the power of positive working relationships and giving students opportunities to not only reveal, affirm, and discover their inner wealth and personal strengths, but also to develop new skills to apply in high school, in their future workplaces, and in their post-secondary educational endeavors.  Students will develop their skills in the 4Cs: communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity as well as develop character and build community as we Love Purple, Live Gold.

At LHS, we hope that each of you will be full participants in the high school educational process.  Our administrators, counselors, teachers and classified staff are here to support students and families so that students reach their goals and have the best educational experience possible.  Let’s Love Purple, Live Gold every day!

Sincerely,

Charles Jolly, Principal
